The Club History Book.

Barry reported that the text for three quarters of the first 1000 meetings is nearly finalised. It will cover 40 years. Photos now important. Most screened by Darryl. Richard is writing up the 90's but there are one or two minute books missing from '98 onwards. Barry has many 'quotable quotes' and 'ripper yarns' recorded.

Special MG Beer Cans. JB produced some empty Zurich MG Car Club cans and thought we could do something similar. More design skills please.

Next OFL  7 Dec (Phil Wells) will be at Royal Perth Yacht Club given the popularity of the venue for Len Baxters  November lunch.

Molasses Rust Removal. JB demonstrated the results he had achieved

Vintage Restorations. John Marks has now retired

L.P.R. Toolmakers (Melbourne) have an unbeatable two pack for spot welding, reported Rob G.(phone 03 7841351 for product)

At this point I took sick and departed for home, so if you want further info you will need to wait till next meeting. I'm OK and believe it was a diabetic 'hypo' – my very first – sweating, headaches, dizziness. Disconcerting to say the least.

Next Meeting  - 26 November at Mike S's, South Perth Residence
