When NASA first started sending up astronauts, they quickly discovered that ballpoint pens would not work in zero gravity. I noticed on a recent TV show about the moon landing and liftoff that when a switch broke, Buz Aldrin used a pen to insert in the switch - to get things going . Perhaps the $12m was worth it Scene Garden City Mall. An old feller sitting on a bench and a young bloke walked up and sat down beside him. He had spiked hair in all different colours, green, red, orange blue and yellow. The old man just stared. Every time the young man looked, the old man was staring. The young man finally said sarcastically, “What’s the matter old timer, never done anything wild in your life?” Without batting an eyelid, the old feller replied, “Got drunk once and had sex with a parrot. I was just wondering if you were my son.” Friends Animals are such agreeable friends - they ask no questions, they pass no criticisms…… George Eliot. There is no possession more valuable than a good and faithful friend. A hug says you care and want to help without having to say a word. Romance alive and well ‘What’s the secret of your long marriage?’ ‘Keeping it romantic’ was the reply. ‘Once a week my wife and I go out for a romantic dinner. I like Italian, but I don’t know where she goes.’ Return to Tech Talk |
